Canon India announced the launch of Canon EOS M50, its newest mirrorless camera which creates still and video content, which will prove to be an insant attraction on social media. The EOS M50 is powered by the new DIGIC 8 image processor for outstanding image quality. Equipped with 4K movie shooting ability and an improved dual pixel CMOS AF, the EOS M50 is primed for shooting ultra-high definition movies and comes with excellent precision focusing even under low light conditions.
The M50 is priced at ₹61,995 in India for the kit that includes an EF-M15-45mm (f/3.5-6.3 IS STM) lens. It sports a 24.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with Canon’s new DIGIC 8 image processor. The camera also features a Dual Pixel CMOS AF that’s said to cover a larger surface area with 143 autofocus points and a built-in OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) along with touch-and-drag autofocus system. ISO speeds on the Canon camera can go up to 25,600 and can be extended further to 51,200.
The EOS M50 offers built-in OLED electronic Viewfinder with touch and drag autofocus. It is also capable of continuous shooting at up to 10 fps. With Wi-Fi and Near-field communication (NFC) connectivity, users can pair the EOS M50 to their smart devices for sharing of images and videos. The Canon camera connect app (available iOS and Android) also allows users to have control of camera settings and transferring of images automatically when paired with smart devices in real time. users can also control image playback and slideshow when the EOS M50 is connected to a TV or projector via smart devices.
