Smart wearable maker Garmin India on 28 March launched an analog digital smartwatch “Vivomove HR” with in-built wellness features at Rs 15,999. Originally announced back in September last year, the Vivomove HR is a hybrid smartwatch which features a traditional analog timepiece and underneath that, hides an OLED display for displaying all the “smart” bits of information like the weather, steps, what have you.
Because it’s not entirely a smartwatch, the Vivomove HR is capable of lasting “5 days in smart mode and up to 2 weeks in watch mode.” In addition to that, the smartwatch comes with a heartrate scanner and a handful of health tools for evaluating your stress and accordingly, asking you to relax once awhile. Of course, it also offers the usual trappings of a fitness wearable such as steps taken, calories burnt, distance traveled and more
The Vivomove HR hybrid smartwatch can monitor heart rate. It features wellness monitoring tools such as “all-day stress tracking” and “relaxation timer.” It also shows the steps taken and calories burnt. The smartwatch comes with features such as smart notifications, weather, find my phone, music control, and find my watch. Also, it is compatible with iPhone, Android, and Windows smartphones.
With them Garmin Vivomove HR, the company promises a battery life that lasts up to 5 days in smart mode and up to 2 weeks in watch mode. So, the users do not have to start or stop their activity timer each time they begin walking. Notably, the device is available across select Helios stores and will soon be available in some e-commerce portals.
The device is compatible with iPhone, Android and Windows smartphones and also features smart notifications, weather, find my phone, music control, find my watch, among others. The hybrid watch can last up to five days in smart mode and up to two weeks in watch mode, the company claimed.
