Earlier this month, Google was testing dark theme toggle on the play store for some devices. Finally, Google announced that the toggle mode is now available on all Android devices. This feature allows a user to switch between light and dark themes.
Until now, the Google play store was only available on devices running Android 10. Here’s how you can enable this option.

Select the hamburger menu, which is located in the top left corner of the Google Play Store and click on settings. You can find the toggle by tapping on “Theme”. If you do not want to switch between dark and light themes, you can turn this into manually and for this, you have to select “System default” option. If your device is running on Android 9 Pie, however, you will see “Set by Battery Saver” option instead of “System default”.
Even though Google announced that the dark theme toggle is now available on all Android devices, but some of you can not see this option in the menu then you can wait for a couple of days to receive it. Play Store’s toggle is currently rolling out only to devices running Android 5.0 or higher. If your Android device is running an older version then you will not receive the new dark mode toggle.
