LG had initially planned to introduce new smartphones only when necessary. However, a few months after this decision, it turns out that the brand will present not only a new model for the G range, the LG G7 ThinQ, but also a new model for the V range: the V35 ThinQ.
According to the publication’s source, the LG V35 ThinQ will feature a 6-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution. The phone will come with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and offer a screen-to-body ratio of 80 percent. While the LG G7 ThinQ is rumoured to offer a display notch, the source says that this will not be the case for the V35 ThinQ. The report claims that the V35 ThinQ will offer two 16-megapixel cameras at the rear with a glass lens, f/1.6 aperture, and 10-bit HDR capability.
As for selfies, the LG 35 ThinQ will reportedly offer a 16-megapixel shooter with a wide-angle lens and 107-degree of field-of-view. The handset has been tipped to come with features like “AI Cam” and Google Lens support at the launch. The phone will allegedly also feature a Super Bright Mode, which will allow capturing bright photos, even under extreme low-light conditions. Notably, some of these features were already introduced by the brand with the V30S ThinQ. The source also mentions that the LG V35 ThinQ will offer advanced artificial intelligence features, but sadly, there’s no word regarding these functionalities at the moment.
There is yet to be any confirmation as to when consumers can expect the LG V35 ThinQ to go on sale but considering the LG G7 ThinQ launch is set for May 2, it’s possible that the updated V-line device will also make an appearance. In any case, the new smartphone will initially be available in two glossy colors: Black and Grey.
