A few Das back the Black shark Helo a gaming phone was launched and now this Mi mix 3 launched. This Mi Phone has Magnetic Camera slider in the front part. The Display is true bezel-less in the Mi Mix 3 launched with Dual Cameras in the front and rear. It has 10 GB of Ram and Snapdragon 845 running inside. There is a 24 MegaPixel Camera which has an overall score of 103 on DXOMark. The photo score is 108 while the video score is 93. This keeps it behind the Huawei P20Pro. Currently, the Mi Mix 3 launched only in China. There is no indication about the Global or Indian launch of the Phone. The Mi Mix 3 Price is set for CNY 3299, CNY 3599, and CNY 3999 respectively for the variants 6GB RAM+ 128GB Storage, 8GB RAM + 158GB Storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage. If we convert these into INR the Indian Pricing comes to Rs 35000, Rs 38000, and Rs 42000 respectively. There is one more PALACE MUSEUM special edition with 10GB RAM and 256 GB Storage which is priced for CNY 4999 meaning approx Rs 52500 in India. Colour options available are Onyx Black, Jade Green, and Sapphire Blue. The pre-bookings are already started while the phone will go on sale from November 1 in China.

The Phone comes with a 6.4 inches full HD+ OLED Display having a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. This gives us a 93.4 percent screen to body ratio with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. There is no notch seen in the Display as the front camera is hidden The front camera is placed in a magnetic slider. The Mi Mix 3 Specifications include Android 8.1 Oreo-based on MIUI 10. Coming to the hardware part, It includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 running inside coupled with 6/8/10 GB of Ram. Storage options are 128/256 GB. There is 3850 mah battery that supports Wireless Charging. This Wireless Charging also supports fast charging with a 10W charger.

There is Dual camera set up seen in the front and back too. Rear Camera includes two 12-megapixel sensors. One of which is a wide angle Sony IMX363 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 1.4-micron pixel size. This also supports Dual Pixel Technology. The other one is a TelePhoto lens Samsung S5K3M3+ sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 1-micron pixel size. This also includes Dual-LED flash, OIS, optical Zoom, AI Background music, 960fps slow motion, AI scene detection, AI studio, AI Bokeh etc. The front camera includes a 24 MegapIxel Primary Sensor plus a 2 MegaPixel secondary camera.

The front camera is placed on the magnetic camera slider placed above the display. The camera slider can also do a lot of things like opening the app drawer, making calls, taking selfie etc. Xiaomi claims that this camera slider will last for as many as 300000 cycles. Connectivity options include Dual Nano Sim Support, 4G LTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type C etc. The fingerprint sensor is placed in the back. sadly no IN Display Fingerprint on Mi Mix 3.
MI Mix 3 Conclusion
All in all a good and interesting phone focusing more on design. Its good to see an almost bezel-less design. There is No Notch while a small chin in the bottom. Something that was expected is in display fingerprint sensor which is not there. They gave a lot of focus to the camera part and AI technology. Cameras are pretty standard with the 960fps slow-motion part as more interesting. The gaming experience has to be smooth with the powerful Snapdragon 845 Soc paired with Adreno 630 GPU.
