HMD Global today announced that pre-bookings will be available through both online and offline channels while sales begin at the end of the month on 30 April. For those looking to pre-book their phones online, the Nokia 8 Sirocco can be pre-booked on Flipkart, while the Nokia 7 Plus will be available for pre-booking on Amazon. Both phones can also be booked online on Nokia’s website.
The Nokia 7 Plus has been priced at Rs 25,999 in India, whereas the Nokia 8 Sirocco has a price tag of Rs 49,999.
The Nokia 7 Plus
The Nokia 7 Plus is built on a Snapdragon 660 chipset followed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone features a 6-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ 18:9 display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. In terms of camera, the Nokia 7 Plus features dual cameras (12MP+13MP) powered by Carl Zeiss optics. The phone also features a whopping 16MP camera sensor on the front targeted for selfie enthusiasts. The 7 Plus supports expandable storage up to 256GB. It can be charged via USB type-C for its 3800mAh battery. The Nokia 7 Plus is available in colour combinations of Black/Copper and White/Copper and is priced at Rs 25,999.
Nokia 8 Sirocco
The Nokia 8 Sirocco is made using a stainless steel frame and sports a dual-glass design, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 which covers 95 percent of the phone. It features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560) pOLED display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3260mAh battery, which can be wirelessly charged.
The smartphone features a dual-rear camera with a 12MP wide-angle and a 13MP telephoto lens respectively and is equipped with a dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. On the front, it comes with a 5MP fixed-focus sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and a 1.4-micron pixel sensor. The Nokia 8 Sirocco comes in a black colour variant priced at Rs 49,999.
