The Nokia X6 is the name of yet another Nokia handset made by HMD, the company behind the resurgence in Nokia-branded devices.
The first phone – launching in China today – will be the Nokia X6 and it will be the first Nokia phone to have a notch in the centre of the display. Expect it to run Android 8 Oreo. It will be launching on May 16
The Nokia X6 is expected to sport a dual-camera setup with Carl Zeiss lens. The smartphone could sport 12MP+12MP dual camera setup on the rear. The Nokia X6 could debut with a 5.8-inch full-HD+ display bearing 1080×2280 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Although the display is almost bezel-less, at the bottom, it shows some bezels with Nokia logo on the right. Concerning the back panel of the device, as we already mentioned above, it is quite similar to the Nokia 7 Plus with dual camera setup and copper accents. But it features an LED flash below the camera setup, unlike the Nokia 7 Plus. In terms of hardware, the Nokia X6 is expected to come in two variants featuring Snapdragon 636 and MediaTek P60 processors.
Fresh information states that HMD Global will be holding a week-long event at the Mercedes Me Square in Sanlitun, Beijing that will end on May 2. Even though some rumors have claimed that the handset will be called Nokia X6, marketing materials and images from the venue have revealed Nokia X moniker. There is a possibility that HMD Global could be resurrecting the Nokia X series from the yesteryear and the rumored Nokia X6 could be one of the phones from this lineup.
