The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are set to be released in India on January 23. Amazon India inadvertently disclosed the flagship smartphone’s price before its official release. The massive e-commerce company quickly removed the pricing, but a tipster was able to take a screenshot of the listing. The Chinese market was where the OnePlus 12 made its debut. It is powered by a 5,400mAh battery that supports 100W wired SuperVOOC charging and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
Tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) noticed that the OnePlus 12 was listed for sale on Amazon. According to the tipster’s screenshot, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant would start at Rs. 69,999. But as of the time this story was written, the device’s price information was missing from its Amazon listing.
On January 23, the ‘Smooth Beyond Belief’ event will take place in India, and other worldwide regions will receive the OnePlus 12 announcement. Alongside, the OnePlus 12R will make its debut.
When the OnePlus 12 was first released in China in December last year, the base model, which included 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, was priced at CNY 4,299, or around Rs. 50,700. It comes in White, Rock Black, and Pale Green colourways in China.
It is anticipated that the specifications of the OnePlus 12 model released in China will be comparable to those of the Indian version. With a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ (1,440 x 3,168 pixel) LTPO OLED screen that can refresh at up to 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, it is powered by ColorOS 14, an Android 14-based operating system. A 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM powers it.
The OnePlus 12 sports a 32-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera array calibrated for Hasselblad. It has a 5,400mAh battery that supports 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, 100W SuperVOOC charging, and up to 1TB of built-in UFS 4 storage.
