Panasonic Lumix G95 Hybrid Mirrorless Camera Launched in India

Panasonic’s sub-brand Lumix launch their new camera “Lumix G95”. Company is targeting Cinematographers, Youtubers and Bloggers. It has the option to record 4K.

Lumix G95 Specifications and Features

This camera comes with 20.3MP micro four third sensor. It has 5-axis in-body stabilisation. This stabilisation can compensate up to five stops of shake. This camera can record 4K videos in 30fps. If you want professional-level colour grading, you can record in V-Log. Yes, this camera comes with pre-installed V-Log. You can even record 1080p videos at 120fps.

G95 comes with OLED live viewfinder & It has both the audio ports for headphones and microphone. You can monitor audio in real-time in this camera. This feature will be really helpful for Bloggers and Youtubers. It has a rugged design which makes this camera splash and dust-resistance. This camera also features a 250-degree tiltable and flippable TFT screen.

It has 49 focus detection areas you can shoot 9fps in-focus images. ISO range of this camera is 200-25600. It has basic communication options like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for remote camera control and image transfer. Panasonic claims you can take ~290 shots in one charge and up to 1000 shots in one charge if the power save LVF mode is ON. It has some inbuilt filters like Toy Effect, Toy Pop, Soft Focus, Fantasy, Star Filter, Expressive, Retro, Old Days, Monochrome, Dynamic Monochrome, Rough Monochrome, Silky Monochrome, Impressive Art, High Dynamic and, etc.

In the launch event, Mr Sandeep Sehgal (Business Chief, Panasonic India) said:-

“Known for its pro-photo performance with 4K cinematic video, the range caters to photography and filmmaking enthusiasts to experience the power of unparalleled image quality with its innovative technology and a host of new functions.”

Which means Panasonic is directly targeting to the Cinematography and Film-making enthusiasts or you can say the budding Bloggers and Youtubers.

Lumix G95 Price

This camera comes with two different lenses options. The one is 12-60mm with an aperture range of f/3.5 to f/5.6 lens and the second one is 14-140mm with an aperture range of f/3.5 to f/5.6 lens. The kit of 12-60mm costs Rs. 94,990 and the 14-140mm kit costs Rs. 1,09,990.
