The Xiaomi Blackshark Gaming smartphone is expected to be launched in May-2018. The device comes in Black color. Xiaomi, has surfaced on benchmarking site AnTuTu. Dubbed as ‘Blackshark’ the phone could be from Xiaomi, as the the company is among the main investors in a company that goes by the same moniker.
According to Gizmochina, it is also rumoured that one of its devices is already been referenced by a government agency that hinted at a highly advanced cooling system referred to as “aviation class” and a flagship chipset.
And according to latest leaked benchmark the phone might come with a 120 Hz display and Qualcomm 845 with Adreno 630 GPU and 8 GB of DDR4 RAM. Expected to run MIUI atop Android 8.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. The smartphone also scored an impressive 270,680 on the benchmark, which is slightly higher than the Samsung Galaxy S9+, which allegedly scored 265,267 in the benchmark. Xiaomi has not hinted or teased a gaming smartphone, which might be in the works and for now, the listing should be taken with a grain of salt.
For a gaming smartphone to be a success, it needs to have the ability to tackle overheating. Interestingly, the Xiaomi Blackshark is expected to have a one of a kind aviation class cooling system. Apart from the cooling system, Xiaomi will have to introduce something worthwhile that will make this different from any other flagship smartphone.
